Additions to the Sailing Instructions

CLASSES
There will be singlehanded and doublehanded divisions in each class. Each skipper must indicate on the entry form the class and division in which he or she is sailing.

SKIPPER'S MEETING
There will be a skipper's meeting on Wednesday, August 2, at 7:30 pm at the Oakland Yacht Club.

TROPHY PRESENTATION
There will be trophy presentation on Saturday, August 5, at 8:00 pm at the Half Moon Bay Yacht Club following the race. Skippers are encouraged to anchor off the HMBYC after the race.
 
STARTING TIMES AND SIGNALS
Warning White/Yellow 10:00
Preparatory Blue 10:05
Class V - Non-Spinnaker Red 10:10
Class IV - PHRF 169 & over Red 10:15
Class III - PHRF 130 to 168 Red 10:20
Class II - PHRF 129 & under Red 10:25
Class I - Multihulls Red 10:30

STARTING LINE
A line between the orange marker on the Golden Gate Yacht Club race deck and the "X" buoy off the Golden Gate Yacht Club, leaving "X" to starboard.

COURSE
From the Start, to the Finish, leaving Colorado Reef and buoy G"1" (located approximately 1/2 mile SSW of Pillar Point) to port.

FINISH
The finish is at buoy G"3", located approximately 3/4 mile SSE of the breakwater entrance, when the buoy bears 000 magnetic. Skippers are responsible for taking their own finish time and delivering it (on the HMB Finish Sheet) to the SSS Race Committee at the HMBYC by 1945 hours.  There will be no Committee Boat on station. Skippers not providing their finish time will be scored as "DNF".

CHECK IN
Check-in via VHF channel 69 prior to the initial warning signal for the race is mandatory.

CALCULATED DISTANCE
The calculated distance for the race is 24.5 miles.

TIME LIMIT
The time limit is 1800 hours on the day of the race.
