THREE BRIDGE FIASCO

Saturday, January 23, 1999

Additions to the Standard Sailing Instructions

CLASSES
There will be singlehanded and doublehanded divisions in each class. Each skipper must indicate on the entry form the class and division in which they are sailing.

HANDICAPS/ONE DESIGN CLASSES
All boats (including one-designs) must have a current PHRF or MPHRF certificate.  No exceptions.  If six or more boats of the same type are entered they may be scored as a separate class.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT PHRF CERTIFICATES

The YRA is changing the renewal date for the PHRF certificates from November 1 to January 1. They will not be sending out the 1999 renewal notices until the middle of December - which would not give you much time to get a new certificate to us in time for theThree-Bridge Race - so for the Three-Bridge Fiasco only we will accept a copy of your 1998 certificate. To enter any other race this season you will need to provide us with your 1999 certificate.

SKIPPER'S MEETING
There will be a skipper's meeting on Wednesday, January 20, at 7:30 pm at the Oakland Yacht Club.

TROPHY PRESENTATION
There will be trophy presentation on Wednesday, February 3, at 7:30 pm at the Oakland Yacht Club.
